2021 Relic of the Year

Winner 2021: Ronnie Lewis

Ronnie is a valued and contributing member of our club.  He is an avid relic hunter and the winner of the 2021 Relic of the Year Award.

Ronnie's winning relic was a New York ID Tag from the Civil War. The piece is in great condition.  This was an unusual tag because  a name or regiment was never engraved into it.

Fred is a valued and contributing member of our club  He is an avid relic hunter and the winner of the 2020 Relic of the Year Award.

Fred Vaught's winning relic was a Confederate States tongue and wreath plate from the Civil War. The piece is in almost perfect condition.  Fred also found a sword scabbard and is continuing to search in the area for the missing sword.

2019 Relic of the Year

Winner: Bobby Wilson

Bobby is a valued and active member of our club and he attends almost every meeting. He is an avid relic hunter and in addition to winning the "Relic Of the Year", Bobby also enters a relic in most of our monthly contest. 

Relic of the Year 2019

Bobby Wilson's winning relic was a piece of iron from the rail car blown up in the Seven Days Battle of the Civil War. The piece contained the serial number and manufacturer of the rail car which was traced to where it was made in Worcester, MA.
