2019 Old Dominion Relic Dig

We had a great hunt on a beautiful day!

The Hanover Metal Detectors Club once again sponsored a sell out event for the 11th year.  We only opened the hunt to non-members (because we know where most of the treasures are!!!).

This year, our guests enjoyed a fun and eventful day.

See the photos below of the 2019 and the 2018 hunts.

Our participants found seeded and authentic Civil War relics in addition to tokens that were redeemed for some wonderful high value prizes - including new metal detectors.

2019 Event

The hunt was limited to the first 100 individuals registered. We had a morning and afternoon hunt on two different areas of the Dig site and in between guests and members enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch.

Diggers found tokens and "seeded" relics, in addition to native relics.

Tokens were redeemed for very nice prizes that were generously provided by our wonderful sponsors.
